Thoroughly enjoyed Tagbilaran City, the hotel was exceptionally friendly very close to Tagbilaran pier. Booked the property for its excellent location close enough to the port area and other business establishments and the Ferry Port and a supermarket and restaurants...

I recently stayed at Open Doors Haven for a few nights during my trip to Tagbilaran City. The owners, Doris and Mark, were incredibly friendly and made me feel like part of their family. They even shared their delicious food and snacks with me. The location of the hotel is convenient, within walking distance to the airport and ferry terminal. The room was small but comfortable, with a fan and air conditioning. The hospitality at Open Doors Haven was exceptional, and I will never forget the great time I had there.

This guesthouse was a great choice for our vacation. the location was perfect, very close to the seaport and easy to reach by public transport or ferry. the rooms were comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for our stay. the owners were very friendly and helpful, offering advice on where to go and what to see. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning.
The guesthouse was a bit basic, but that's to be expected for the price.

the room had private facilities, high-quality bedding, and was tastefully decorated. There was a beautiful garden area to relax in and Barbeque grills were available for use.
There was a minor issue with the location advantages as it was a bit far from the main attractions. this hotel made up for that with the impeccable service and luxurious amenities.

The guesthouse had some positive aspects that made my stay somewhat enjoyable. Firstly, the room was modest and simple, which was perfect for me. Secondly, the guesthouse was located near a food stall that served affordable Filipino food. Lastly, the staff was helpful when I had a problem.
My overall experience was negative. The guesthouse did not provide running water and the lock on my door was broken, which made me feel unsafe. In addition, the staff locked the door at night, which was inconvenient if I wanted to stay out past 8pm.

The value for money at Open Doors Haven was excellent, with a small but cosy private room at a great price. The location was perfect, close to the port but away from the busy traffic and constant sellers. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, giving me great tips and even assisting me in returning my rented scooter in the pouring rain. The wifi speed was also impressive. I would definitely stay here again, especially for solo travelers or couples.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be more variety in the items served.

The hotel had a great location, just a few minutes walk away from the pier and the shopping mall. The staff were approachable and concerned for my needs, even offering me yummy breakfast in the morning. The facilities were clean and well taken care of. I also appreciated the free unlimited coffee and super fast wifi.
Not obvious to find.

During Easter, I stayed in a budget-friendly place near the port and business establishments. It offered a fast and reliable WIFI which made my stay more comfortable. the staff accommodated me with the best service they could offer, making me feel at home.
The shared bathroom was not well-maintained, making me feel uncomfortable every time I used it. Unfortunately, some of the facilities needed repair, and the smell of fish was present, which made me feel uneasy.
